Sedona is absolutely gorgeous, there’s so much to fall in love with. In addition to the natural beauty of its red rock formations, Sedona is known as a haven for spiritual wellness, due to the numerous energy vortexes that many believe encompass the region. Nature means so much to me. Nature is a form of therapy and I'm a firm believer of getting outdoors. Remember to leave no trace and keep our land beautiful and unimpaired for future users. I'm happy to share my suggestions with you as long as you promise to pack out the trash that you bring in with you. Be sure to save this site to your quick links for reference.

Welcome to my blog. Here you will find the inside scoop to all my favorite hiking trails, links to purchase the gear I use, photos of my journey and a little education about the beautiful places I share with you. Almost all posts on this site contain affiliate links. This means that if you click on any of the links in the post and make a purchase I may receive a small commission at no cost to you. I make recommendations on only the products that I have actually used and enjoy. When I suggest products to you the intent is to improve your experience. “In nature, nothing is perfect and everything is perfect...”

People often ask what I put in my daypack when I hike. Each hike is different and I prepare based on a few key elements. I always do a little research so that I know what to expect. I check things like the terrain, the amount of elevation gain, distance, the amount of exposure and difficulty. Also, it’s ALWAYS important to check the weather. Weather plays a huge role and what I pack and is often the deciding factor on if I go on the hike.
What’s in my daypack?
Jetboil (for sunrise, cold, or long hikes)
Fillable tea bags, for brewing coffee (for sunrise, cold or long hikes)
Keen boots (not in my bag but definitely on my feet :)
Headlamp (you never know so I keep it in my pack)

When you’re out exploring connectivity for navigating can be a challenge but I have a solution. What I use and highly recommend is an app called AllTrails. Click on the link here and download the app. What’s coolest is that you can download maps for use when offline. Be sure to follow my profile sweet talley after downloading and keep up with all the most amazing hikes.
